If I could give this ten stars I would. Decadent definitely describes this book. It's and so gorgeous I wanna cry. It's pretty hefty in covering all European art eras from Art Deco, Art Nouveau to Classical to Surrealism, etc. The theme is decadence so Hiroshi Unno did a not bad job in encapsulating that by curating artworks that bear that theme. The emphasis on female person form is divine. So shmexy. 😍 That's what I really love almost his books, he's not stingy with the page space, he's very thorough in the

And for Graphic Design nerds I definitely think this one is a treat because the attention to detail in design choices alone is amazing. Information technology's full of surprises. From the delicious grit jacket printed in red foil, the intro pages printed in tissue paper, to the fore-border that is double printed with ii different pictures. Soooooo adept! Seriously who designed these books? Whoever did actually knows their stuff.

The gothic and fantastic garden".

A breathtakingly aesthetic and slightly agonizing volume design. As decadent as its subject matter

Absolutely beautiful design. Wonderful pick of decadent artwork. It would be 5 stars were it not for some portions being just in Japanese.
